How the Daily Typing Competition Works
Every day at midnight a new paragraph goes live, and every competitor types the same text for sixty seconds. Because the text and the time limit are identical for everyone, the leaderboard is a fair comparison rather than a matter of who got an easier passage. You get one attempt per day, which means there is no advantage in retrying until you get a lucky run.
Competition Rules
One attempt per account per day. Rankings are ordered by words per minute, with accuracy breaking ties, so a fast run full of errors will lose to a slightly slower clean one. Results that fall outside physically plausible limits are flagged and excluded from the leaderboard.
